Does anyone have any experience creating Extension DLLs and Add on Actions in VT Server? I see only cursory references to it in the Genesys documentation. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

  • I am creating an ordering system using data collection VTO. I need to allow callers to order an infinite amount of our products. The VTO collects some information on the caller, then the product numbers. I need to find a way to loop through the product ordering block. I can of course reference the first line of the block and loop through, but my variable gets overwritten each time. If the caller were to order 10 items only the 10th would be stored in the database. I believe that there is probably something I could do with the actions, however with so little documentation on them I am frankly not entirely sure what. Therefore I am now just trying to find out what I can about them.

I have also, by the way, tried to loop through the product ordering block by transferring the call out of VTO and to a route point with a strategy that sends the call back to the VTO. This works except that there is ringing on the VTO port every time the call gets routed back to VTO.

    thanks,
    Olivia

  • Hi,

we have the same problem. We are using a Lucent Definity PBX. the ringing one is from the PBX, but you can not disable this.
