Hi, I am losing the attached data when I transfer the call to another site using external router. It seems that the attached data does not carry throgh till EventRinging; the original call deletes itself along with the caonnid and the atatched data.

Did anybody experience this problem before and possibly can help.

Vic

  • Are you talking about G5 or G6? Because in G5 I did not know that you could transfer data from site A to Site B without IR or NOM and still have attached data...

  • Hi, Vic, I am using Symposium4.0 with IR6.1. I thought that external roting does not involve IR at all, is that right?

  • Hi,
I had the same problem with Genesys 6.1 TServer for Symposium.
Please delete "Keep Alive" protocole section (or parameters) in the TServer application options in CME.
For a MultiSites routing KeepAlive has to be banned !

    Ciao,

    Vic

  • Can you please elaborate on it?
Have you contacted Genesys? Delete keep alive between two TServers? Why is it a problem?

The reason why I am asking you this, is because I am starting multisite review and would like to get all the do's and dont's beforehand if possible.

What happened when you used keep alive? Why would it affect attached data?

  • Hi Vic,
We loosed attached datas in a multi sites environment routing as follows:
1 Call arrives on a RP at a central site.
2 Central URS runs a strategy.
3 Target selection is made and an agent is detected on another site.
4 The call (telephony) is routed, but there is no USER attached datas with it. All other attached datas are presented correctly.

The problem was reported by our staff on different PBXs (Lucent, Nortel, ...).

The "solution" cames when we deleted the KPL protocol parameters. After confirmation from some other projects, it seems that KPL is not compatible with the Genesys MultiSite protocole (ICC protocol).

    Hope this help.
    Fariborz.

  • Sorry, the multisite using protocol between Tservers is not ICC but ISCC.

    Thanks,
