increasing buffer coefficient to 300? is that Ok?

we've been having database conflicts; our configuration is that I have 19 preview campaigns pointing to one table, but each campaign has 1 calling list each each calling list filter has unique records; though all point to just one db table.  IT reported database errors and suggested I change the optimum coefficient for these campaigns to 300; they think that will cause less strain on the tables.

Have any of you had multiple preview campaigns pointed to the same table running at the same time? Is that an issue?

Have you of you set a buffer max to 300 per campaign? Does that cause issues?
