Hi,

I've a doubt in identify Dn from various switch.

I've switch ( for ex: abc,def ).

Both switch contain a DN named "3103".  Now i've registered both the Dn's with T-Server, to listen all the events of the DN's.

I received the events from T-Server.  Now my doubt is how to identify the event comes from T-Server is belongs to which DN.  i.e.,) "3103-abc" or "3103-def".

Please give me solution to resolve this issue.

Thanks & Regards,
S. Ramkumar

  • do they have different aliases ? if so, run the query against that DN name and get the switch name.

  • Does TServer support multiple switches? If so, how to identify the DN with respect to Switch?

  • No. One TServer can be connected to only one switch at a time. There are exceptions like Cisco clusters but this is not your case I guess as you cannot have the same extension configured on each switch.
