Hi,
I am looking, for solution, based on Genesys, for small (<30) agents CC. My idea is to use Genesys SIP server and GAD with Genesys SIP endpoint.  Does anybody have experience with GAD & SIP endpoint? Is it good enough?
Thanks.

Hi,

we are using it for customer with 15 agents and with external usb soundcard. You have to meet some criteria (disabled popups on IE, no/configured firewall, editing of hosts file). The most problems that we have to solve here are dealing with windows/updates/popups blocker, sometimes sound goes to sound card and not to external usb sound card and so on. Often we have to connect remotely to agent's pc and check if phone is registered.
If i had the option, i would recommend hardphone, ie aaastra 53/55i. To fully use aastra, use sipserver 8, otherwise 2-step transfer will not work.

What do you mean? The ringback? It is normal, otherwise how does the calling person will know that the call is ringing on the other side and is not a failed call?
