even then we are unable to retrieve... those.... No Transfer time & Deletion Time happen in DMA too....

Could you pupil help me to get across this bottleneck situation........ Plz :P

• You did what??? Those tables are created automatically by ETL! Never mess with them! Check ETL logs and see ODS connection why are those tables missing

• Mahesh,

It seems like you are saying that your Time and Stat Tables were "missing", so you created them...?

I share cav's concern that they should not have been deleted and trying to re-create them will probably not work.

Since you appear to have "lost" the original Tables, then you will not have any historical data to work with currently.  So, as an alternative suggestion - and this is quite radical - I would start all over again and create a copy of your Layout in DMA, then activate it - and deactivate your "old" Layout - and then make absolutley certain that you don't/can't delete the Mart Tables again!

• Okay...

First; If the StatRes table is gone, your historical data is gone...

Second;  You can use an existing Layout Template to create a new Layout...

Open DMA against whichever Data Sourcer contains the Layout you want to "replace".
Navigate to: "ODS Database">Report Layouts>Resources
Right-Mouse-Click on the Resources Folder.
Select "New"
Select your previous/old Layout Template from the list provided
Give your new Layout a new Layout Name and Description and click Next
Select the Objects you want the Layout to report on and click Next
Select the Statistics you want the Layout to report on (this should be pre-populated but you may want to add or delete some stats...) then click Next
Select a Time Profile for the Stats to be collected - this may be every 15 minutes, or hourly, or daily, etc. depending on which time profile you select then click Finish

It may take a few hours (or a day...) for the Layout to start collating data, as the ODS will first be updated by the System (ETL) and this is dependant on the level of Aggregation.  Be patient! :)

You will then need to use ETL Assistant to determine which Tables should be used in your Brio Report... and also set up purging rules against your datamart data tables... but that's another story... :)

I hope this helps...?

• The process of applying a new Layout in DMA will invoke ETL to produce new datamart tables.  You do not need to manually create anything.

I strongly suggest you obtain either some training materials or review the installation and administration guides for CCA, before continuing...

• Folks,

I faced a similar issue which was caused by an ugly bug in Data Sourcer 7.1.000.06.

Rarely, in case it loses connection to StatServer, DS re-creates Tenant(s). If this occurs, sure it effects the DataMart tables.

Thanks to a recent backup, we returned the historical back data just for one day data loose.
