Hello Guys,

I need to setup GVP 7.6 with d600 jct 2e1 card with R2MFC ; switch is alcatel 4400.

i would be thankful if i would get the dialogic configuration for R2MFC. I am getting some issues configuring dialogic for R2MFC protocol.

please find the details which i have configured at dialogic side.

Please confirm whether i have to create pdk file and run pdk manager because someone told me that it doesnt require in 600JCT.

does this card require this configuration if yes what will be the fcd and pcd file name .

Also , please confirm if above is not required and also confirm if below steps are complete.

In the Dialogic installation directory, edit the
<DialogicInstallDir>\CFG\icapi.cfg configuration file as follows:
In the section named Parameter 14, set the following parameter
$14 Use of DTI Wait call function ( 0=auto detect, 1=disabled ) : 0
equal to 1 for disabled, so that it looks like this:
$14 Use of DTI Wait call function ( 0=auto detect, 1=disabled ) : 1

In the main DCM window, right-click Bus 0, and then select Configure
Device from the shortcut menu.

5. Click the TDM Bus Configuration tab, and configure the following
parameters:
Set TDM Bus Type (User Defined) to H.100.
Set Media Type (User Defined) to Alaw for E1 boards.

For E1 boards:
NE1.prm
CTR4.prm
For the preceding file, complete the following steps:
a. Open the file in a text editor.
b. Locate the 0024 parameter near the end of the file. Remove the
semicolon from the beginning of the line, and set the parameter to 10,
so that it looks as follows:
0024 10
c. For E1 protocol files, set the CRC ENABLE SWITCH parameter to OFF by
setting the 000F parameter to 00.
d. Save and close the file.

2. Start the DCM.
The first time that you start the DCM, a dialog box appears, prompting you
for the computer connection (see Figure 51 on page 455).
Select the Local radio button, and then click Connect.

3. Double-click the board that you want to configure.

4. Click the Interface tab, and select the appropriate ISDN protocol for each
span. Select none if that span is used for Continuous Speech Processing
(CSP).
5. Click OK.
6. Right-click the board and select Enable Device from the shortcut menu.
7. Click the Misc tab.
8. Set the span to act as the CSP. The CSP enables the Automatic Speech
Recognition (ASR) resource.
a. Set FirmwareFile to Default.
b. Set FirmwareFile2 to spe1csp.fwl (for an E1 configuration).
9. Start the Dialogic Service by clicking the green button on the DCM
toolbar.
