Genesys SIP Proposals

Hi,

I am working on a Genesys SIP proposal for a client, and I still running into problem with costs associated with hardware that is needed to run this. On top of servers, I still need VoIP GW to get it to work, and those things make it impractical to offer Genesys SIP for an under 200 seat call center without getting read of all T&M.

How does everyone offer Genesys SIP without losing all the profit in a meantime?

Best regards,
Vic

Hi Victor,

Some tircks I did seen used:

a) use provider which gives customer SIP trunk :) - no hardware for gateway
b) use redhat + asterisk + Digium card + SIPS in one box
c) sometimes customer already have Cisco GW so sometimes it's cheaper to equip them with E1 interfaces
d) Audiocodes can purchased with add on card which is a server - in single box You could have SIPS/MediaServer + gateway
e) offer hosting model

For endpoint standard response is softphone :)
