Availability of multimedia solution

Hi everyone,
I’m planning new multimedia (Voice, Email) installation of Genesys. Request from customer is to provide backup solution. There is no requirement to provide hot or warm standby, requirement is at least to have one host with Genesys running and backup host with windows up and running, but Genesys applications may be started manually by administrator in case of problems. Database is external and backuped.
What are options to do this?
Is it possible to do without any HA licenses, but correct from licensing point?
Is it enough HA CIM Platform license, or I need HA CIM Platform + HA Voice?
Any idea?

AFAIK you don't need HA licenses to run cold or warm standby, only hot.

So you should be able to run your backup host with no problems at all.

Give it a try, you'll either see license errors in the logs, or you won't.

But in that case I need to have to separate license files linked to two different hosts. Does anybody know is it possible to get them from Genesys? Of course I can run licensing server on independent host, but it is not my case.

Yes you can but that is part of the HA idea, which as far as I know is a sellable item, no matter if Hot or Warm standby. You won't get support unless you buy the HA suite.
