Do you understand what a Star Schema is?

In a star schema you have some fact tables that store some "facts" or data that refers to some "dimension".

The aggregates tables are optional tables that store some "aggregated facts". For example total number of interactions handled by agents or group of agents in a specified period of time. In the previous example, "total number of interactions" is an aggregated fact and "agents" or "group of agents" are dimensions.

HTH,

Kind regards,
Franklin.
