Hi, I need to buy some license for development, but I only need 5 seats. Does anyone know where I can purchase such a small number?

  • Which licenses? I suspect the only place you can get licenses is through Genesys or a VAR. As well, Genesys sell licenses in blocks of 25.

Let me know if you find out otherwise.

  • If you already have a genesys configuration then you should be able to buy individual licenses as part of upgrading..... however if you are attempting to set up a new genesys configuration then I suspect you are walking down a blind alley.....alternatively if you are doing this development as something personnel then I suspect your biggest difficulty will be access to a switch/simulator I doubt Genesys will give you the simulator for free and switches well we all know how cheap they are!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi, Mark,

I have worked here in the States in a Genesys VAr, and now decided to go solo.
I have an access to a PBX with a link, but I do not have Genesys.
So, I was hoping that I could buy 5 licenses or so and start from there. I always thought that software was free and the only thing we pay for are licenses.

Any ideas where I can find those Genesys license resellers?
Few months back I heard of a VAR reselling Genesys licenses, but I cannot recall its name! :(
