In the first instance I think you are probably better off finding out more about the tools being used for testing, than knowing much about Genesys.  Obviously Genesys skills are also useful/required...

I am curious though - if you need to find out about these "skills" in such a short amount of time - and I don't mean to be facetious - but isn't this the wrong role for you?

Hi Tony, first thanks for the reply.

I down loaded your " THE_HANDBOOK ", great reading on the train to/from work, so yes I am beginning to wonder about the position myself.

I have a broad range of experience in the IVR and telephony voice services arena (Nortel CS1K, SCCS, CC6, Call Pilot, Salmat IVR, Oak Call Logger etc etc) so maybe thats why I have been asked to interview.

Thanks again Tony for your Handbook, I feel I will be using this as my Bible.

Craig

No problem Craig,

It's obviously a tester position but it doesn't say what components you might be testing.  Any idea who it is for - or what Genesys Solutions they have installed?

Hi Tony,

The position is for Tesco Bank. There is no mention of what Genesys kit they have, all I have is what mentioned earlier.
On reading your handbook I have found it very interesting, I would like to get the experience to work with Genesys.
I will let you know how I get on, cheers buddy.
