We attach KVP data from customer records to interactions, as I assume everyone does...  What is the expected/what do others see on average for KVP attachment in their environment?  I find it hard to believe that somewhere in the 50% range is acceptable/the standard.  The interactions with missing data have handle times that are similar to the interactions that do have data, so data in my opinion should be there.

Assuming that the 50% range is unacceptable, where would one start looking to correct this problem/where does this process generally fail?

first of all i would check tserver log for events 'attached data changed'. And then check option last/first for committing userdata options to the db. checking 'raw' data in icon tables is useful as well.
