Hi,
Did anybody implemented GPlus adapter for Siebel 7, with Nortel Meridian/Symposium? Since in the Meridian switch, each agent has 2 DNs, I was wondering how will these 2 DNs be registered (from a Siebel perspective). The goal is to receive incoming calls on the key 00 DN and place outgoing calls using the key 04 DN.
Thank you.

  • If you look at the Siebel 7 Communications administration documentation you will have all the information needed. For each agent you will have to configure 2 Extensions; 1 with the Extension number and the other with the Position number. They will need to have the right attribute set, I can't remember off the top of my head but I know it's in the Siebel documentation.
If you had a chance to work with Siebel 99 or 2000 and Genesys, the way the GPlus adapter for Siebel7 is configured is the same as for the OLE/COM toolbar.
    Hope this helps.
