DAP question for HA architecture

Hi guys, I need your help to figure something out.

We have a HA architecture were the DB servers (Primary and backup) are distributed on two servers. DAP is configured on the server were DBServer Primary is installed.

Question:
What happens if we switchover to DBServer Backup (on this server no DAP is configured) and shutdown the server were DBServer Primary and DAP are configured? Will we have database conectivity problems ?

If yes, suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks

You don't need to worry about the DAP as its not really an application, it just represents the connection parameters for DBServer to use. The DAP will just switch to backup DBServer when primary goes down.

Thank you! I knew that DAP has nothing installed on the server, but I worried that I would be considered unavailable if the machine on which it shows as deployed (in SCI) would go down.

Thank you
