Hyperion Replacement?

Hi All,

Does anyone know what the roadmap is for the generation of CCA reports? Hyperion is EOL soon and Genesys will stop taking orders for it in the next few weeks.

(I posted a similar question on the official G forum but 48hours later it still hasn't been published!).

Crystal Reports 2010 is the replacement for Hyperion.
It is already available for download from the Genesys Support Web Site
You need a license key in order to install this product which looks very similar to Hyperion Designer overall.

Genesys just released a new version of the Demo Server Image (available to partners under certain conditions) and it contains Crystal Reports, hopefully with some sample reports (I've juste FTP the image and not yet found time to run it).

So,I guess, that the Hyperion will be replaced by the BOE(BusinessObjectEnterprise) with RAA(Agregates and Analytics).
Where did you get information about CrystalReports2010?

thx

Hi,

JeffreyT is correct - Hyperion has been replaced with Crystal Reports. Here is link to document on Genesys Support website that details the change - http://genesyslab.com/support/dl/retrieve/default.asp?item=B6C52FB62DB42BB229B027509FE81A62&view=item (customer/partner login is required).

Both is correct:
Hyperion will be replaced with Interactive Insights(=> BOE XI 3.1 + RAA + GIM(InfoMart)) or CrystalReports2012(=>CCA(DataSourcer,StatServer,ETL) or (RAA + GIM))

BTW : Thanks for the link to the document.

Hello everyone,

One more thing regarding Crystal Reports and CCA reporting
- The latest "Reporting Templates" CD from Genesys contains the sample reports for Crystal (G122_8010002_ENU)
  Folder : solution_specific\cca\cca_templates
- There is not plans to get an equivalent of the RGA utility

No RGA? That is going to be a mess...at least for initial users and customers...will be a pain to make them understand the whole tables interconnections.

Thanks for this guys.

It is interesting that our SI here couldn't see it on the Software Download section of the TS website (he sent me a screenshot to prove it).

Ah..that usually happens with new products. Send them an email or open a ticket asking for access to the software for your account as partner. I always get all the stuff I don't see by default like IWD, WFM, etc.
