I never got this working as I stopped investigating back in 2013.

But to see if the DNS is resolving you will need the debug logs for the SIP Endpoint, and/or a packet capture on from the desktop.  Since it's a supported way to run I would be pushing it to Genesys support, especially if you're running like this in production.

Does, both, Genesys server and agents PC resolve the problem?
Sip server is configured to do search via SRV?

Hi Cav,

Could you please explain what you meant by resolve the problem?

Sip server is configured to use the SIP proxy using the DN configured.

Thanks in advance

Sorry, hehe, autocorrector error. Was, to resolve the address, the FQDN.
Both, pc and server should have same dns server configured, right?
Now, you can instruct SIP server to use SRV records or just A record. Is that part configured?

Oh..  :)

Yes both PC and server has same DNS configured.

Where do we instruct SIP server to use SRV or A record? I have configure a outboundproxy-DN with options contact and external contact to use the sip proxy FQDN as mentioned in the SIP Proxy deployment guide.
