Of course are same information in ICON DB , which is part of GIM deployment. But directly in GIM DB is not currently one table, which may contain similiar information. These information in GIM are stored in more that one tables.

Hi Kubig,

Thanks for the prompt response. Can I have names of some tables in GIM which store such information?

Hi Kubig,

Sorry to say but this was a avery rude response from your side!

I had already tried but was not able to find any equivalent table of G_DICTIONARY and G_DICT_TYPE in GIM. That is why posted here in order to seek some expert comments.

For everyone else except Mr. Kubig:
I had seen some tables like MEDIA_TYPE and TECHNICAL_DESCRIPTOR (in GIM) which do not solve the purpose. Can anyone give me an idea if we have tables equivalent to G_DICTIONARY and G_DICT_TYPE in GIM?

As I wrote, in GIM are not stored same information in same format. If you need exactly this, then you have to use ICON DB, but it is not a problem, because ICON is part of GIM deployment of course. Only one thing, it is hard to help to you if you did not write what are your purposes, what datas exactly do you need. G_DICT and G_DICTIONARY tables stored a lot of kinds of Genesys data enumeration.

Hi Kubig,

Thanks for the response. I had made a query in ICON using G_PARTY and G_PARTY_HISTORY. These tables were joined with G_DICTIONARY and G_DICT_TYPE tables for columns which store values of some enum class.

I have created the same query in GIM using GIDB_G_PARTY_MM table, so was wondering if I there are any tables similar to G_DICTIONARY and G_DICT_TYPE with which I can join the columns. As I did not find any table in GIM for G_DICTIONARY and G_DICT_TYPE, I was writing DECODE statements in oracle in order to get description of values stored by the columns (which is actually time consuming)
