EWT Stat to an IVR

Hello, We are setting up a 6.5 environment that has callers entering and IVR, validating themselves and then leaving. Just before they leave we want to read out an EWT for the target VQ. We have set this up exactly as per the manual (plus tried many variations) and have yet to get a single Stat delivered to the IVR. We have triple checked the IVR and CME and all seems okay.

Has anyone successfully pulled this off yet and if so how? We have a feeling that it will be a minor tweak somewhere but do not know exactly where.
