Hi All,
We are planning to migrate from 2003 windows servers to 2008 servers. We have stream managers(7.6 Version) installed on the 2003 servers. I installed the SM in 2008 server but in the sip logs I am able to see Still out of Service message is showing for VOIP service DN.
In 2003 server configuration the SM are working fine. For 2003 host two IP's(175.x.y.z,175.x.y.y) are configured one Ip(175.x.y.z) which we can able to login through MSTSC. In the application of SM under the contact section the RTP address is mentioned as other IP(175.x.y.y) of 2003 host. But for 2008 server only one IP address is configured when I put the same IP address(175.x.y.y) of 2003 host initially the RTP error came and SM was not started, so I changed the IP address of 2008 then RTP error is resolved and application is started but in the SIP logs STILL out of server message is coming for the VOIP(treatement, application) service DN.
We have SIP server in redundancy, for the sip servers also we two IP address(175.z.z.z,175.y.y.y) are configured one IP(175.y.y.y) is using for the SIP address under Tserver Section. For both primary and backup the same IP(175.y.y.y) address we are using for redundancy. When I pinged from 2008 host to SIP address(175.y.y.y) RTO is coming. When I check the same ping request from the 2003 host, reply is coming for the SIP address(175.y.y.y).
I checked in the sip logs when the SM installed in the 2003 host first the OPTIONS messages is going to that particular 2003 host(175.x.y.y) from SIP server and then 200 OK acknowledgement is coming from 2003 host(175.x.y.y). But when I check the same when I installed the SM in 2008 host, only OPTIONS messages is going to 2008 host from SIP server but 200 OK Message is not coming from 2008 host in the SIP server logs and the message is going in frequency of interval after two secs, four secs and then finally STILL our of SERVICE message is showing in logs.
Can anyone confirm me, VOIP service DN is going OOS because of from 2008 host not able to ping to the SIP address.
Thanks
Ajay
