Hi Everyone,

I have a problem regarding Genesys Administrator.

Everytime I login to GA and after accessing the options, it will go back again to the login page.

It keeps on going and even for a few minutes, automatically it will just go back to login page.

I have the video link for everyone to see the issue, https://youtu.be/VdjzIhghkDA

Is this something related to time-out or security issue?

Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks

Does this also happens on Chrome for example?
Check IIS security settings
Clean IE cookies

Hi,

Yes. It happens to all browsers. I have already checked the security settings for all browsers including IIS settings but still having this issue which is weird.

Does LDAP integration could have a cause on this?

Thanks!

Enable DEBUG logging on GA and IIS level and try to check if there will be anything weird.  Did you create application pool and application site within IIS by yourself or by install wizard?

Hi,

It was done by install wizard. Will do the debug logging on GA but btw, how to activate debug on IIS? Sorry for the noob question.

Thanks for your reply.

DEBUG logs of GA are more important than IIS, so let do the GA first. Perhaps the IIS logs would not be necessary. Is the GA installed in the latest version? What version of OS and IIS is used?

Hey there, we had this exact issue recently and adddressed it by excluding GA installed directory from antivirus scanner.  Somehow it was added by Mcaffee and resulted with this exact looping symptom so i suspect you're experiencing the same.

Hi Kubig,

I haven't got access yet from the client so I wasn't able to activate the debuggin for GA. As for the version, it is 8 i think. But once I got session from them, I'll turn on the debug.

Hi Eugene,

Regarding the virus scanner, is it from the user end or on the server end?

Thanks everyone!

the IIS machine hosting GA - chances are you'll have some antivirus that's causing.
