Hi all,

I have been advised that IRD 6.5.0, which only has the ability to save Strategies either locally or remotely, via the OS has been superceded by IRD 6.5.1, which gives you the ability to save Strategies to Genesys CME. Is this true and, if so, what are the actual benefits of using 6.5.1, as opposed to 6.5.0? Any thoughts?

We have IRD 6.5.1 on order but I was wondering if there were any other benefits...

TIA

  • The benefit is that no mapping of drives is required to share strategies between people. Now when you double click on the strategy in IRD it opens rather than telling you the rbn(?) can not be found usually its on someonelses local machine! This new functionality is a big step forward, its made my life easier.

  • Here is what I know:
    you can store .RBN files (export your strategies)
    import functions now works correctly
    a bit better object layout
    relative masks of custom statistics are shown properly
    you can create a much better Queue/RP custom stats

    There is no reason why you should not upgrade it should be free, it offers additional stability, as well as there is no need to redesign the strategy.
