CCPulse views have evolved and grown over time making additions of objects painful and have to rebuild views basically from scratch.  over time learned about using DN Groups and Agent Groups to make life easier..  and how to get a new object to import into the workspace...

however, i have been reading and trying to learn how to use XML instead of STG Legacy as the storage file format.

I am hoping with XML i can edit the Workspace.xml file to add new objects into the workspace.

All attempts at creating or getting workspaces to save in the XML format have failed.

i know if the directory exists, the STG files create themselves when building a new view... not the case with XML ??

Thanks for any suggestions or assistance....

I don't recommend for big deployments as make them slower. Bin is a better format
Yeah Yeah, xml can be edited... But... Is it a real life scenario? So far haven't seen a single one

From Newest CCPulse versions (not remember which of 8.1 in particular) is available a new option to add objects in existing workspace, have you tried it?
One thing to consider is if you use this feature is necessary all supervisor that use CCPulse to migrate to the newest version.

Regards.

Check CCPulse BIN folders configuration. Try to create new first, does it work?

Ya its working.  But it needs requires the higher version 8.1. I can't able to import templates from version 8.1 to 8.0. Kindly looking for the suggestions.

Ahhh downgrade might be a problem. Easier will be to install 8.1 on that pc that has 8.0
