CPD Port

Hello,

we have a cpd channel which is continuously causing dial errors due to an unknown problem with it.

how can we get the system to stop using this extension?
within cme we think it can be disabled and would stop it from being used (whilst cpd server is stopped, then started after).
within cpd server, the oos timeout is 1 min, changing this would provide more time to investigate but still use it again after that expires.  also documentation does not state if this option is effective immediately or requires a restart of cpd server.
I think there may be a problem on the switch side rather than genesys or dialogic.

we are using t-server 8.1, OCS 8.1.5, cpd 8.1.3, dialogic with Avaya cm.

thanks,

Change the dialogic or other interface card. Or, on Avaya disable the port that corresponds to that CPD port

Very strange - if it's disabled, it should not be used at all by TS / CPD Server. Does it get re-enabled automatically?
