It's a shame because Pulse has good potential.

Yeah, I liked it on paper too. But real world expectations are different to be proposed as a CCPulse replacement. Genesys is trying hard to push it but still not ready. On BEP installations there is no CCPulse so for new installers there is nothing to compare with. Imagine the frustration!

Seems to be a common thing with Genesys over the past few years, products not mature enough.

Commercial pressure to release something to sell...I have seen this on many brands actually. Competition is huge

The painful thing is when we sell these types of features to customers or include them as  functions within an RFP response then go back 6 months later to tell them "actually it's quite useless for your business".

Lol well business are like that everywhere. I wouldn't say useless, but not ready yet. You can do some approach and customer will decide how to use them. Good thing is that we have alternatives inside Genesys itself.

You know how to postpone it? What I have done, install and show them pair to pair vs a CCPULSE.
Then I grab the most wanted metric, current calls ir current agents on some state.
Result: Ccpulse is real current status.
Pulse...you wait and wait...and keep waiting and bam! Refreshed! But...that number is no longer what is going on...so...they look and ask...but can't you reduce that time? Sure I say, and show them the time refresh ranges. But even tho they see that were not 15 seconds for a refresh... Was a lot more. After that they tell ok...we will continue with CCPulse... I tell them that we can use it for wallboards were they don't require such speed. But they refuse because discrepancy on shown data is huge and would bring a problem of real understanding situations on their platform. A tool that is inaccurate is just unacceptable on a CC and is what Pulse is right now.

Does anyone know if this situation has improved now? I need to compare the two offerings so want a clear view on any known issues with Pulse
