Hi

i'm configuring license manager.
in the lmtools debug log file, i'm returned the following error.

(genesys.d) Invalid license key (inconsistent authentication code)
(genesys.d) ==FEATURE iserver_ha_option genesys.d 8.0 31-jan-2017 10 0187D9C64A30
NOTICE=Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A. (Engineering
Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A.) Partner Lab SIGN=50DAFF44255E
(genesys.d) License server system started on T_W2008_R2_SE_L
(genesys.d) No features to serve, exiting
(genesys.d) EXITING DUE TO SIGNAL 27 Exit reason 4
(lmgrd) genesys.d exited with status 27 (No features to serve)
(lmgrd) genesys.d daemon found no features.  Please correct
(lmgrd) license file and re-start daemons.
(lmgrd) |
(lmgrd) This may be due to the fact that you are using
(lmgrd) a different license file from the one you expect.
(lmgrd) Check to make sure that
(lmgrd) CGenesysGCTILicense Managerlicense.dat
(lmgrd) is the license file you want to use.

consider that first rows are repeated for all the features of the license file

Does this mean that license file isn't valid (the features authentication codes are wrong), or might be a wrong configuration of LM?

Thanks

Did you edit the first line of the license file when you received it?

You need to update it with the server name, mac address, port number and genesys.d location.

Like so:
SERVER <license server host> <license server MAC> <license server port>
DAEMON genesys.d genesys.d <directory of genesys.d location> PORT=<daemon port number>

Port numbers are generally 7260 and 7261

Exactly!

If MAC address on server is another than in the file - request another file. The checksums on each row is unique based on the MAC used when generating the file.

yes, already done.

without doing it, the LM is unable to read the file (already tested with the vanilla file i was provided by Genesys).
instead, when all the parameters are set, the LM can read the file but it returns that the authentication codes for each feature are not valid

Then you need to raise it with Genesys.

Also, Cav, and Catanirex are right, you cannot edit the MAC address in the file.  I just substituted that to remove the real MAC address in my example.
