Hello Guys...

I am facing couple of issues with VTO ...wondering if some one could help me out on it

Iam using VTO along with Dialogic JCT 600 and nortel pbx.

Issue no 1 : When Iam making a call to the VTO port (using a treatment object in the strategy) the call is ringing for around 3-4 secs before it is answered by the VTS.Is there any VTS or Dialogic parameter that I can tweak to set this parameter to 0 ?I dont want any delay between treatment applied and VTO answering the call.

Issue No 2 : When I make a call to the VTO ...I can see that VTS has answered the call and playing the prompt but Iam not able to hear anything in the extension from which I dialed for the VTO script. The VTO prompts are in wav (8 bit Mono 8KHZ)

Thanks...

  • The problem defntly seems to be with VTO ...

I tested the dialogic card for the prompts using the PSTN DEMO app and it worked perfectly fine and the call is getting answered immdtly. It just looks like the VTS is not able to talk to the GC api's properly.

Has anyone faced a similar issue before ???

  • Issue 1: post VTS logs
Issue 2: did you import or record the prompts throught the VT facility? Are the prompts in PCM format?

  • Why don't you try to record it by dialing one of the VTO ports?
If you think you have a problem with recording format.

  • I really doubt that it is a problem with the voice format because Iam able to play the prompts off the dialogic ports using the PSTNDemo app.But just to be sure I will try to record one prompt using VT and let me see if that works.

    thanks

  • 2. - Convert WAV to VOX, within the Interface on VTS.  Worked for me... :)
