I Suite / Oracle issue help

When we try and install the Internet suite version 5.1.6 we receive a database error as follows :

Please specify the fully qualified pathnames used by oracle on the target computer of the manual setup process

We do not know why we are getting this error because it should be seeing the database. We are going over a network from one server to another that for the database.

I would appreciate any help.

Yeah.. Don't use Oracle...

What components of the ISuite are you using the Oracle DB for? I had problems connecting to a network connected MSSQL V7.0 when I was installing Contact Server. I had to move the DB to the Genesys server. I was going to try installing Contact Server on the DB Server but haven't had an opportunity to try that.

Have you tried installing in on the same machine?

Jim Wacek:
Yes. We have it running on Oracle 8 x and MSSQL 7.
