Reporting Tools

Hi,
We all know that Genesys supply Brio (now part of Hyperion) as a report generation tool and when used properly it is a very powerful and flexible tool. Alternatives I know about are Business Objects and Crystal Reports. The question is, are there any other tools available?

FYI BO is the incumbent here but the users don't think it's flexible enough. Brio is my preference but is not allowed (don't ask why).

A few suggestions;

Build your own (if you really have some time on your hands!)...
Build your own in SDK (Genesys Supported)...
ODBC to your dB and produce reports in MSAccess (not Genesys Supported)...

...Just a few but the list is not exhaustive for pure business reporting purposes. However, personally I wouldn't go further than Brio, BO or Crystal, which seem to be the mainstays at this time.
