We currently use Meridian 1 PBX and run Genesys 6.1. Does anyone know if zip tones are able to be used with it. If so, do you know a vendor or marketer?

Zip tones does not give the agent to select to answer a call. They will hear a tone and the call is automatically put through to them.

  • It does not give the agent the choice to answer the call, the agent hears a tone and then the call is forced through.

We have the exact set up here, exception being genesys 5.1.83, force answer is working fine in this environment. Genesys behave normally, so is the switch.

    Dennis,

How are you achieving this? Are you assigning a queue to each agent and/or forcing it via a desktop application?
