GVP 7.6 install issue.

Hi all,

Simple GVP 7.6 install
Windows 2003 Standard server SP2 updated, jre6 installed, telera user is in the admin group
Core: 7.6.450.06 - install ok
EMPS: 7.6.450.08 - install ok
Dispenser: 7.6.000.11 - install ok
LDAP is running, telnet working, applications can write the directory while installing (Admin/password)
Watchdog is running (not in safe mode)
In a browser I can see that all processes running (Sca, Netmgt etc.), but when I click the "EMPS server", it says: EMPSServer is not running
Logs and gvp.ini are attached.

Any idea?
Thanks,
Bandorka

The only weird messages I'm seeing are:

STANDALONE mode lookup
SCALookupServer >> LocalMode [1].
SCAIniGen.cpp:2097 C=77:L=1:U=0 seedINI >> LocalMode [1], Source INI [C:\GVP\CN\config\gvp.ini].

Did you changed the localconfig parameter in gvp.ini?

No it has the original settings as you can see in the watchdog section from gvp.ini:

[WatchDog]
LdapBindPwd=admin123
LdapPort=389
LdapRootDIT=o=genesys
LdapServer=eti-cocivr1
LdapTeleraType=CORE;EMPS;
LdapUser=cn=Manager
Processes=NetMgt;PageCollector;Scheduler;SPS;SCA
ProvServer=eti-cocivr1
ProvUser=Admin
SCACurrentObject=WatchDog
SCAGenerated=1
SCAParentObject=cn=eti-cocivr1,ou=Servers,o=genesys
backupconfigurl=
clsid={8FE4A8FD-AA7A-11D2-8B07-00105AA452F4}
configurl=
exe=WatchDog
gvptenancy=0
iniretrievaltimeout=30000
localconfig=0
logfile=WatchDog.log
loglevels=*:0x3
logmaxsize=262144
logulids=
maxnoresponsepings=5
maxsoapserverthread=200
memorythresholdpercentage=90
restartonhang=1
serverversion=7.6.45
shutdownonfailure=0
soapport=8001
system=EMPS
systemcheckfrequencysecs=300
templatelink=cn=WatchDog,cn=$version$,cn=Core

I fight with his issue for three days, and I have absolutely no idea what's wrong. But I guess it's something trivial, but no and no and no :-(

thanks for the answer

Why you dont just reinstall all gvp. Remember do it locally, remote desktop IS NOT supported.
Antivirus MUST NOT be installed.

The only message you get is EMPS Server not running?

Have you try the EMPS URL? http://eti-cocivr1:9810/spm? or http://10.133.186.4:9810/spm?

Is this a single box deployment?

Yes it is a single box env. The url is working, but say no emps, but able to login. the emps tree is empty.
we think maybe an iis issue?

Solved: The IIS install overwrite some files, so I should reinstall SP2 again, and voila.
grrrhhh :-)

No Cav, IIS before GVP AND before SP2. The issue was that IIS deployed after SP2...
