Hi All,

We are setting up a lab environmetn for GAD and trying to understnad if we need any SDK to perform the customizations or if we can start customizations on top of GAD only.

My understanding is that we dont need anything additional apart from GAD installer. Please correct me.

Cheers,
-Vikas

I think that what you need is to read the documentation and search on the forum, this question is repeated over the time.

Hi Cavagnaro,

Thanks for reccomendation, that indeed helped me reviewing some of the interesting topics on GAD.
However, didt find one related to what I am looking for. I've already gone through the documentation and more than 20 pages back in the forum.

From documentation I understnad that we can start the customizations with the GAD application without any additional component; but need experts advise to verify my understandings since I am new to this and all my learnings are based on documentation as of now.

Cheers,
-Vikas

Hi Vikas,

GDesktop is built using Interaction SDK and you can use this SDK for customization. There is no need for any other SDK/licenses unless you need to implement something not supported by Interaction SDK.

Thanks much Rene,

I assume that the Interaction SDK is part of GAD installer and accesible via code and hence do not need to procure and install it separately.
